I could not believe what happened in the movie Sicko
We finally bought the DVD Sicko movie by Moore instead of seeing it in a theater. Possibly you agree with that I thought.
(1) I was amazed that the poor people who helped out with 9/11 in NYC were denied medical coverage.
(2) Those 9/11 people were taken to Cuba by boat where they were given all the medicine, helpful information, full medical aid and were listened to instead of being literally thrown out because their medical coverage was denied.
(3) the coverage was top notch and no questions were asked and none of needs were pushed aside.
Not withstanding the rest of the film, these parts really stuck in my mind.
Meanwhile someone without coverage can be administered to and don't have to pay. And this happening countless times . Meanwhile US citizens with coverage are being denied coverage.
And don't get me started about why the drug lobby etc keep propping up medical prices. I am so glad that some places now offer $4 for some prescriptions.
I want to hear about all this stuff during from the candidates for all political parties im the races coming up.

Britney does it again Lewd and Crude
How horrible was that! She seemed like she was sleep walking all the way through the latest TV snafu. The bikini outfit was really in poor taste. Another real pop tart episode. Unlike many AOL in a poll, I don't feel any remorse for her. She deserves what she has gotten.

Republicans in Congress say they are serious about cutting spending, but they learned yesterday to keep their hands off the "Bridge to Nowwhere".
Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), a staunch opponent of pork barrel spending, tried to block $453 million for two Alaska bridges that had been tucked into the recent highway bill. Coburn wanted to redirect the money to the Interstate 10 bridge

It's been that long since Winona Ryder graced my website They Are All Pigs (now this blog)
It's been that long since Winona Ryder graced my website of the same name.
I had thought about going back and placing that incident as another incident in the Pig file but I don't have to. She has resurfaced.
She has tons of money but she has to shoplift. What was worse is that like Paris Hilton she bellyached and said "it was no big deal."
Instead of saying " I am sorry" she tried and still does try to push it under the rug.
Serves her right for not getting assignments until this gig.

(July 17) -- Winona Ryder is over it.
Five and a half years after being videotaped prying security sensors off items and shoving them into a bag at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, Ryder, 35, is Vogue's August cover model, representing women of her generation for the magazine's annual age issue. It arrives on newsstands Wednesday.
Since her 2002 trial and conviction for shoplifting, Winona Ryder's career has been in limbo,
should have been this shoplifting such a big deal?
